Interior Design
Wake me, take me,
make me , break me out of here,
into your stratosphere,
to dwell in your Holy Atmosphere.
A castle of white light -
a column of air.
A cathedral of nothing
voluptuously bare.
And who wouldn't be impressed
when the Host of all Host's so informally dressed?
Who can divine your interior design?
So openly planned -
outside time and space.
Forever poised
but never in place.
On solid foundations
you build without trace.
You know that I'm willing to die -
you know that at least I am ready to try.
Haunt me, taunt me,
shake me up,
and sweep me clean.
Polish me till I can't be seen.
No cause for a wall -
no need to divide.
No call for a cupboard -
there's nothing to hide.
No sign of a stairway -
there's no higher place.
No need for a mirror
where none has a face.
Show me your undrawn plan.
Show me your structure laid bare
if you dare!
And who wouldn't be impressed,
when the Host of all Host's so informally dressed?
Who can divine your interior design?
Delight me, excite me,
ignite me,
but invite me in -
in to your stratosphere
to dwell in your Holy Atmosphere
in to your House Divine -
in to this timeless zone you call Home
Where all is accepted and nothing returned.
Where nothing is known and everything's learned.
No need for a floor where none take a stand.
Everything happens and nothing is planned.
No need for a Fire - you'll keep me warm;
you'll wrap me up like a child in a storm.
And with the Light discreetly now placed from behind
we'll reach out to the darkness that's all in the mind!
A castle of white light -
a column of air.
A cathedral of nothing
voluptuously bare.
And who wouldn't be impressed
when the Host of all Host's so informally dressed?
Who can divine your interior design?
A design so fine -
who can follow the line
of your interior design?
